Project Overview:
Simon Fraser University (SFU) is seeking comprehensive Technical Proposals from qualified mechanical contractors for the TASC 1 District Cooling Systems Upgrade project located at Burnaby campus. The scope involves complex mechanical upgrades within a fully occupied, active academic and research environment requiring stringent indoor air quality controls, dust hoarding, and negative pressure management.

Procurement Stage (Request for Qualifications Only):
This is a non-priced Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process intended to prequalify a pool of capable mechanical contractors. No pricing, cost estimates, hourly rates, or financial sheets are to be submitted at this stage.Submitting pricing data may result in immediate disqualification.

Document Access:
The 90% Issued for Tender(IFT) design package across Mechanical discipline is provided under Appendix B for technical context and proposal preparation purposes only. A finalized, 100% Issued for Tender package will be released exclusively to the qualified short list during the upcoming subsequent pricing phase.
