The Community Energy Association (CEA) is requesting proposals from qualified Consultants to provide professional energy advisory services for the performance of residential energy assessments, as per the EnerGuide Rating System requirements, for an estimated 60 to 100 homes per year in both the City of Kamloops and the Regional District of East Kootenays (including member municipalities) of British Columbia. Consultants may apply to support either or both locations. The Retrofit Assist Program will facilitate the delivery of a support service model for homeowners to undertake home energy assessments and energy retrofit projects, engage contractors to retrofit their building envelope and mechanical systems, and maximize financial mechanisms and rebates through the local government, CleanBC Home Renovation Rebate and Home Energy Savings Programs, the Canada Greener Homes Program, FortisBC and BC Hydro. Work is expected to commence by November 2024 and continue through to March 2027. A detailed scope of services is provided in the attached RFP.
