The John Noble Home is a 156-bed municipal Home for the aged, owned and operated by the City of Brantford and the County of Brant. The Home is located on 12 acres of land located at 97 Mt. Pleasant Street in West Brant in the City of Brantford. The Home is seeking a qualified Human Resource Consultant Service to implement multiple projects with specific deliverables. The John Noble Home (JNH) is requesting submissions for Human Resource Consultant Services.    Sealed Proposals, one (1) original and 3 (3) additional copies, in a clearly marked envelope to be delivered to John Noble Home 97 Mt. Pleasant Street Brantford, Ontario N3T 1T5 The John Noble Home is seeking a Human Resource Consultant Service to help the organization meet the following objectives it has set out: 1. Recruitment -Attract, select and retain qualified employees in order to maintain a competitive position as an employer of choice within the community. Goal is to assure staff occupancy for upcoming 40 beds by November 2025 and fill in empty vacancies to current operations within 3 months. 2. Job descriptions and Performance Appraisals (PA)- Classify leadership roles according to level of complexity, responsibility, formal and applied knowledge, skills and abilities. Reassess wage grid in accordance. 3. Conflict Resolution -Manage conflict resolution and provide standardized process. Provide recommendation for conflict prevention, management and resolution. 4. Labour negotiations -Ensure contract settlement with labour negotiations. 5. Attendance Management- Ensure implementation of absenteeism policy and program; including follow up and discipline if granted. Revise attendance process and policies. Bring forward formal recommendation for improvement of attendance to all staff. Link employee attendance to PA. 6. Human Resource Policies -Review and revise current Human Resource policies and procedures. The Consultant will collaborate with the team to audit current Human Resources practices and draft recommendations. Recommendations will be presented to the John Noble Home Committee of Management upon request. The Consultant shall be expected to deliver the services in accordance with the following: • Recruitment - Consultant to understand current challenges in recruiting and retaining employees and identify opportunities for improvement by recommending strategies to improve recruitment and staff retention. • Job descriptions and Performance Appraisals (PA)- Consultant to review current job descriptions, scoring and make recommendation for role modifications and wage modification as per current employment standards. Consultant to construct a Performance Appraisal standard and process • Conflict Resolution – Consultant to provide recommendations on conflict resolution and a healthy work place. • Labour negotiations - Consultant to review labour negotiation process and identify areas for improvement. • Attendance Management- Consultant to develop and implement a robust attendance management policy and program and provide recommendations for the ongoing internal administration and maintenance of the program. • Human Resource Policies - Consultant to review and update all current Human Resource policies and procedures and identify opportunities and make recommendations. Required Administrative Services: • Consultant to produce regular updates to the Administrator/designate detailing progress. • Consultant to present recommendations and updates to the John Noble Home Committee of Management upon request.
