| Description: |
Mikisew Cree First Nation (MCFN) invites qualified consulting firms or multidisciplinary consultant teams to submit proposals for a Feasibility Study supporting industrial and commercial development on reserve land, in connection with the Allison Bay Subdivision Expansion Project at Allison Bay Reserve #219, Fort Chipewyan, Alberta. The study's priority focus is the feasibility of an industrial laydown yard. MCFN has identified a candidate site, but its suitability, boundaries, and any alternatives will be confirmed jointly with the successful consultant early in the engagement. Building on this work, the consultant will also assess broader industrial and commercial development opportunities that could be integrated into the ongoing Allison Bay Subdivision Expansion Project, including potential sites for these uses. This is a single, integrated study, not two separate feasbility studies. This RFP is issued in support of MCFN's application to the Government of Alberta's Indigenous Reconciliation Initiative – Economic Stream (AIRI-ES); associated funding parameters affect the scope, timeline, and pricing of this engagement. Interested proponents should refer to the full RFP document for detailed scope of work, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and closing date. |
