Holaco Construction, on behalf of Simon Fraser University, invites proponents to participate in a competitive procurement process to identify qualified exterior envelope contractors for the installation of new exterior cladding and related work, to the
Shrum Science Centre, located at the Burnaby Campus of Simon Fraser University.
It is anticipated that this RFSQ process, Phase 1, will result in a list of Qualified Exterior Envelope Contractor(s) who will be invited to participate in an invitation to tender process, Phase 2. Only those proponents prequalified under Phase 1 will be invited to participate in Phase 2. Phase 2 may comprise multiple projects, and the prequalified contractors will be eligible to remain on an approved list for up to 3 years, subject to review by SFU and HOL. Each additional project will be tendered separately, and a winning bid on one does not automatically mean a winning bid for others. The maximum value for any work tendered in Phase 2 will be $500,000.
