Garden River First Nation G’naadmaagoom Child and Family Services is seeking proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide design services for the proposed G’naadmaagoom Child and Family Services Centre. The project will advance the proposed new Child and Family Services facility from the completed feasibility phase into design through the CHRT 41 process. The successful proponent will be responsible for providing professional design services and preparing the technical, cost, tendering, and supporting documentation required to meet applicable Indigenous Services Canada and CHRT 41 requirements. The proposed facility is intended to support the delivery of child and family services, prevention programming, First Nation Representative Services, family support, community outreach, cultural services, staff administration, confidential client services, and related community-based programming. The scope of work is expected to include architectural and engineering design, functional program validation, site and servicing coordination, code and accessibility review, cost estimating, lifecycle and operational considerations, tender-ready drawings and specifications, and support for ISC/CHRT 41 design-stage review. Qualified firms with experience in Indigenous community projects, child and family services facilities, ISC-funded capital projects, CHRT 41/Jordan’s Principle/FNCFS capital requirements, and culturally responsive design are encouraged to submit a proposal. |
