TOWNSHIP OF NORTH DUNDAS 
 

The full scope of work is prescribed in detail in the attached tender documents. Without limiting the specifics of these requirements, the work generally consists of:

 

  • - The Construction of two submerged aerated growth reactors (SAGR) cells within the western portion of existing lagoon Cell #5. 
  • - Modifications and reconstruction of the berm around Cell #5 to form the smaller modified Cell #5. Removal of aeration piping in existing Cell #5; removal of existing blowers.
  • - Construction of an influent pumping station to convey the effluent from Cell #5 to the SAGR cells.
  • - Construction of an influent split structure to split the influent into two (2) SAGR cells.
  • - Construction of an effluent level control structure downstream of SAGR.
  • - Installation of new SAGR blowers; modifications to the existing Blower Building; installation of new control cabinet for the SAGR and blower.
  • - Modifications to the existing electrical distribution, including the construction of a new service entrance.
  • - Relocation of the outlet structure and piping from Cell #3 to #4.
  • - Modifications to the effluent pumping station to include new pumps to facilitate effluent pumping during winter months.
