This Request for Tender (the “RFT”) is an invitation by The Art Gallery of Hamilton (the “Owner”) to qualified
General Contractors to submit Tenders for the interior renovation and office fit-out of the The Art Gallery of Hamilton washrooms located at 123 King Street West, Hamilton Ontario L8P 4S8 (the “Project”).
The Project consists of renovations to the public washrooms, universal washroom, and adjacent public
corridor on the art gallery’s main level, as indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work is intended to
improve and renovate the plumbing infrastructure, update finishes, and bring the spaces up to code for
accessibility.
The Project will be carried out within an occupied building environment. The Contractor shall plan and
execute the Work to minimize disruption to ongoing operations, in accordance with the Contract Documents and review with The Art Gallery of Hamilton
