| Description: |
The Toronto District School Board would like to assess its building portfolio for opportunities to leverage its properties to deliver electric vehicle charging and to provide infrastructure access for TDSB fleet, staff and the broader community. The Toronto Lands Corporation working with the Toronto District School Board are requesting professional services to conduct a desktop analysis of TDSB sites to identify and prioritize the most suitable locations for L2 and L3 EV charging stations based on factors such as location, accessibility, driving patterns, ideal use cases, existing electrical capacity, etc. The analysis must be underpinned by charging demand forecasts taking into account EV adoption and charging demand over time for various customer types. This work will allow TDSB to select up to five (5) sites for a future pilot, while identifying the opportunities of the portfolio and growth potential of the program. The properties included for review are primarily surface lots with a limited number of underground parking garages. The scope of work is focused on the delivery of the following key objectives: * Best Practices through a review of successful business models and partnerships for the installation, operation and maintenance of electric vehicle charging infrastructure on public lands with a particular focus on schools and other public education institutions. The budget for this project is $50,000 to $60,000 |
