This project involves significant architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical work at the Masjid Al-Farooq, located in
Mississauga, Ontario. The included contract documents cover two distinct phases, designated as Phase 2B and Phase 2C.
These phases address both interior modifications and exterior additions to the existing mosque facility, which will remain
active throughout construction. This is an occupied building. It is the General Contractor’s responsibility to ensure the
public is safe throughout this work.

Project Phasing
The overall phasing of the project development is as follows:
• Phase 1: Original Mosque Building (Completed)
• Phase 2A: School, Gymnasium, and Parking Expansion (To be completed in 2025 under a separate, existing
construction management contract)
• Phase 2B: Original Mosque Interior Renovation (This Contract)
• Phase 2C: Exterior Exit Stair Addition (This Contract)
• Phase 3: Future Worship Space Expansion (Future Work)
