The North Bay - Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) are co-owners of the Laurier Woods Conservation Area with the Friends of Laurier Woods Inc. The conservation area is approximately 101 hectares located within City of North Bay. This popular conservation area hosts 5.3 km trails and is open year-round. The trail is used by thousands of people annually even in the winter months during daylight hours. Boardwalks are key pieces of trail infrastructure located in various sections of the property to bridge water and/or wet areas. The NBMCA is seeking firms to replace three (3) existing boardwalks located near Laurier Avenue. The proposals shall include all materials, labour and removals. Mandatory Site visit.11:00 am EDT on April 12, 2023. If you attended the site meeting held 9:00 am. February 16th, 2023, then there is no need to attend the April 12, 2023 site meeting. Work shall be completed between September 01, 2023 and October 15, 2023. |
