Background
OECM has started the procurement process for the re-tendering of the current Portable Classroom and Modular Building Supply and Installation Agreement (OECM-2017-299) which expires in May 2023.
Prior to commencement of this project, OECM is initiating supplier consultations to validate/assess the overall approach, deliverables, and the resourcing estimates. This supplier consultation session will provide OECM insight into key aspects of the project to further inform the overall procurement strategy and potential Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) – it is important to note however, that the supplier consultation is not a procurement.
This open invitation is intended to allow interested suppliers the opportunity to share their expertise, knowledge and insights with OECM.

The discussion points for this consultation may include, but not be limited to the following:

• Supplier’s background and experience;
• Market and industry trends;
• Modular and Portable Building Types and their potential uses, particularly for use by Municipalities, Universities, Colleges and schools;
• Past experience in providing these services to the sector and areas for improvement;
• Current industry standards and practices, and,
• Resourcing requirements.

If your organization would like to participate, please email eric.smith@oecm.ca by end of day on October 14, 2022.

Supplier consultations will occur in October and early November, 2022, and may be conducted by teleconference, questionnaire, one-to-one phone call or via a survey. Depending on the consultation method, a time commitment of between thirty (30) and sixty (60) minutes may be required.

All supplier consultation requests shall be managed at the sole discretion of OECM.

The information provided during the consultation will not be used in any way during an evaluation of any proposal which may be submitted by a supplier in response to a subsequent competitive procurement process; shared outside of OECM and its customers; or published in any form.

No proprietary information should be provided to OECM during the consultation.

Supplier consultation may or may not result in a subsequent competitive procurement process.
